Welcome to Lakeland Highlands Babe Ruth Baseball! We are a non-profit 501 c3 organization that operates under the Babe Ruth, Cal Ripkin rules. We are a Polk County ran park made up of volunteers that keep it operational throughout our Spring and Fall seasons. The park was founded back in 1977 and has been serving the Highland City community ever since! We offer 2 annual seasons of recreational baseball (spring & fall), 2 annual seasons of AB (advanced baseball, spring & fall) and 1 annual season of All-Stars baseball. The park is comprised of an executive board, (President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary & Liaison) and board that meet on a monthly basis to go over rules, future happenings and current standing of the park to ensure the park is operating as efficient as possible. It takes a village to keep this thing going and that comes with the help of our wonderful players and parents! We do our best to make our park one of the most fun and safest places for our players to play ball! With that, we need your help in a few simple ways.. PLEASE help us keep our park clean! Lets keep all trash in the cans and out of our bleachers, dug outs and cages. PLEASE be kind and understanding. There is a ZERO tolerance for cursing on our property. We are there to teach baseball and team work, not an English lesson in unclean words. Umpires are human and make mistakes. Same with our coaches. If you think you can do it better, we encourage you to sign up as a volunteer next season! We love our fans and our players and want the best for them all! Thank you for choosing us as your ball park of choice and we look forward to seeing you at the fields!
